Wonderingif anyone has experienced not being able to seat select Codeshare Qantas flights on an American Airlines ticket. I was able to select seats on AA for 2 flights, but not for my two Qantas flights. If I try to select online at Qantas it goes through the process, thinks about it, and takes me back to the seat select main screen.
Enteryour booking reference number and click Choose your seat or Seat selection (or similar). Choose your preferred seat. Check in for your flight 24-48 hours before departure. When checking in online, the seat map will open up more, allowing you a greater selection of seats. Be open to your seat changing.
Ifticketed, you should be all good. You probably would need to go to the vendor directly to pick a seat though. If you trip still says Confirmed, I would suggest contacting your company's travel agency as they will be the ones to process the trip and get it ticketed.
